Snuggled in the heart of San Francisco Chinatown, the historical venue is walking distance to Union Square and SF Downtown Financial District. The venue is easily accessible by public transportation, and has public garages nearby.
Once the Salvation Army Church, the venue was internationally known as the purveyor of musical instruments of the world. In 2019, it was transformed into a performing arts center and community space. Located in the corner of a historical alley, the space has an intimate atmosphere, and it is known as one of the best listening rooms in San Francisco.
The venue has adjustable roll-up shutters as well as blackout curtains. Thus, we are able to provide full privacy for our guests. The venue would be a great location for multifunctional events and productions, corporate and communal gatherings, workshops, film screenings, presentations, live performances, film or photo shoots, exhibitions, VIP hosting - fundraising events.
RULES:
* No smoking inside the building.
* No adult filming.
* Serving but not selling alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and food is allowed. RENTER agrees to manage, clean up and take all trash with them right after the event. Otherwise, a $50 trash disposal fee applies.
* Breakdown of the event must be completed at the end of rental time. Otherwise, you might face extra charges due to overtime.
We also offer professional audio visual packages, and a Yamaha C3 Grand Piano. For further information, please check add on section. All Pro Audio Visual packages include rate of the tech support.
